Starting in 2014, after struggling with frustrating digestive symptoms related to IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), a Leaky Gut, a non-celiac gluten sensitivity, and possible SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth); Marisa entered the field of nutrition by creating a blog called My Longevity Kitchen where she shares recipes that maximize nutrition and minimize toxins. Her recipes honor a variety of Real Food diets like Paleo, Primal, Plan-Based, Perfect Health Diet, The Whole30, and Weston A Price.
Today, Marisa helps busy adults put an end to the confusion about what’s healthy by encouraging ancestral principles and balance in a hectic modern life. The most impactful project thus far is her new online course called Intermittent Fasting Freedom where members can cruise through a variety of learning materials that help them to achieve a lifetime free from yo-yo dieting, and reach their goals of weight loss/maintenance, and abundant energy.
